I hope all Mom's had a great Mother's Day! My husband took me out for breakfast and when we got home my daughter gave me a home made card (aren't those the best?) and then together they gave me a Hallmark card and the Juno movie. Can't wait to watch that! We then lounged around for awhile and then had to run down to Kohl's so that we could get Kay some summer clothes. We ended up only getting 2 outfits because she was tired of trying clothes on! I don't think she has the concept yet of when your parents are willing to buy you clothes to get all you can! I know when I was a teenager I certainly would have taken advantage of it if my parents were that generous. At least she was somewhat pleasant when we were shopping so I can't complain too much. So after shopping we met my sister and her family and our parents at Logan's Steakhouse for Mother's Day dinner. I was getting restless because it was an hour wait for a table. (I don't like waiting) But the wait was certainly worth it as our dinner was delicious!! My husband and I agreed that we found our new favorite steakhouse! Sorry 54th Street!
I borrowed an air cast from my brother in law in which is helping me to get around really well. The swelling has gone down in my ankle but I am so afraid I am going to injure it again that I am wearing this thing for the next 6 weeks or so in order to get it strong. The thing that sucks is I bought two new pairs of high heel sandals 2-3 months ago when I was in a winter depression (I can't stand winter) and I have been dying to wear them.....now it looks like it will be July before I can.
Tonight I am making a new dish for dinner. It is chicken in creamy basil sauce. I decided that I am tired of eating hot dogs, pizza, waffles, etc. in which is all our kids would eat in the years past. We sucessfully got one graduated from high school this weekend, have two that will become teenagers this year and one that will become a teenager next year so it is time they take some adventures on the pallet. I remember being the same way as a kid. I just hope they are willing to open up and try new things.

Meet My Family
Coach: My husband who is "obsessed" with sports. If he isn't watching them on TV he is playing them on the PC. Thank goodness his coaching days are over because that was yet another corner of the world he devoted his life to. He will tell you he is not obsessed with ALL sports because he doesn't care for tennis or hockey. Coach doesn't have a romantic bone in his body but still manages to make me feel like I am the princess of the world. =)
Nemo: As in finding .... is our oldest child who is currently out "finding himself". Against the way he was raised and his family's wishes he took off at the age of 17 (is 18 now) to move in with his girlfriend who is BBB (Bleach Blonde Bimbo). I pray to God everynight that BBB does not become my future daughter-in-law someday because I do not know how I can find it in my heart to like her. Nemo has thrown away college, wrecked cars and burnt bridges with his family all because of BBB. I do know he was raised right and I pray he gets his head out of his $#@ and turns his life around real soon.
Energy: Is our second oldest. Energy is somewhat like his father and is obsessed with sports but for the mere fact for something to do. He cannot sit still and must be shooting baskets whether it be outside in the driveway or inside with his Nerf goal. He has even got out of bed after being in bed for 2 hours and came to us and told us he couldn't sleep and felt like "shooting some baskets". Get back to bed! Energy is currently playing his first year of school football and basketball. He is also going through a growth spurt as he wants to eat every 30 minutes!
Cupkayk: Is the only other female in the house besides moi. However, now that she is 13 she likes to be referred to as only "Kayk" which I pronounce like "cake" and she pronounces is like "Kay Kay". Whichever way you say it she is our girly girl who has alot to say and can say it in an extremely dramatic way. She likes clothes, texting and is "in love" with Nick Jonas from the Jonas Brothers. Kayk is a straight A student and plans on being a teacher and actress someday.
Master G: Is the youngest. Master G stands for Master Gamer. This little fellow has an obsession with video games. If we do not take the Nintendo DS at night time he will stay up all night long playing it. His future hopes are to become a game developer. When Master G can put his video games down he loves to run. Although he is little he is extremely tough and can run fast but we can't get him interested in playing football. If he ever changes his mind his opponents better watch out!
Koko: Is our beloved four legged friend. Part Beagle part Boxer she is a sweetheart, who is afraid of thunderstorms, loves Peanut Butter and Chapstick, and can bark your dog under the table any day!
