Koko a NO-GO in the Car-o

Yesterday was a rough day at work. I felt like I was being pulled in 18 different directions to put out fires for other people and was not able to do the job they pay me to do. When the clock stuck 5:00 I was high tailing it out of there!

THEN on the way home, my husbands ex-wife calls him and asks if he can pick a prescription for her. Now granted the prescription was for a child they have together and my husband was on his way over to pick up the boys anyway.....but honey poo, he is NO longer YOUR husband so don't be asking him to do favors for you. You decided many moons ago to replace my husband with the one you currently have. A down grade - yes - but that is not our problem. The other thing that bothers me about it is neither her OR her husband work so they had ALL day long to go pick up the prescription. So yes, while me, you, and every other American is at work getting our butts handed to us in order to make donations to every freebie pot that they have their hands in....we would be thrilled to also run their errands!

I am extremely jealous of those of you that can have your dog ride with you in the car. Last night I had to run one of my OWN errands and I decided I would take the dog with me. Our dog is a complete spaz in the car but I got to thinking that perhaps if I take her on short trips she would begin to get more and more used to it. Not so! I couldn't even make it out of my neighborhood without her trying to get up on the dashboard (and we are talking about a 55-60 pound dog!) Then she tries to get behind my back so I am using all of my might to drive with my left hand and push her back into the drivers seat with my right. I get her over to the drivers seat and she attempts again to get on the dash board and has a paw on the gear shift. Ok.....this is not going to work so time to take her back home. This morning when I woke up the right side of my neck, shoulder and arm were so sore. I am sure it was from the fiasco of the dog in the car. I have a few more ideas in order to try to get her acclimated to the car; however, when I got back home my husband (who is not a pet lover) had to share his displeasure of having the dog in the car in the first place.

Have a great weekend!
