This morning my husband got up and cut the boys hair. B was begging for a haircut as he likes his kept short. A on the other hand pretty much had to be forced as he likes the shaggy look. They both look very handsome with their new haircuts. I prepared the meatballs for dinner and made a chocolate cake. It was extremely hot out today so we stayed in the house for the most part.
For dinner we had what we called a "Messy Night". I had read about it in a magazine as a family fun idea. I prepared a spaghetti and meatball dinner along with chocolate cake and the trick was you had to eat with your hands - no silverware could be used at all. I put trash sacks on our chairs for "just incase" accidents. We also gave the kids old Tshirts to put on. I tried to post a video but couldn't get it to work. =(
After dinner we went to play miniature golf which was alot of fun. Since it was a week night there were hardly any people there so we pretty much had the course to ourselves. Above is a picture of my husband with the kids after golfing.
