Today's Frustration

Yes, I am back again for a second post. Blogging is very therapeutic for me so I decided that instead of sitting here stewing about a situation that happened I will write (type) it down and then I can get over it.

A couple weeks ago I had called my sister and asked her to watch our kids for a couple hours while we went to my high school reunion. She asked for the date and then said, "yes, I can do it." So with that all taken care of we were set to go.

This morning my sister calls me to talk about me watching her dog a day or two when her neighbor can't because they are leaving for Vegas tomorrow. She then goes on to tell me that how they will get home from Vegas, be home for two days, and then leave again for Oklahoma. I stopped her and asked "so you won't be in town on July 12th?" in which she replied "no." I then reminded her that the 12th was the day she agreed to watch our kids while we were at the reunion. She replied "Sorry! I will be out of town."

Uuuuuugh! God love my sister........she is so unorganized that she never knows what she is doing until 2 hours before she is doing it. She has dropped me flat on so many things at the drop of a hat and it gets completely frustrating! She is making K's cupcakes for her birthday party and I asked again today...are you going to be able to do them and she answered "yes". If she drops me on that I am going to be furious!

I feel better now just getting it out. Now onto finding someone to watch our kids.
